We understand that a network design typically supports a proposal for services that will be provided for several years. It also support's applications that are fundamental to the operation of your business. It is therefore often prudent to test the design prior to implementation.

Sometimes we find that a customers' application portfolio has evolved over many years and that few, if any, people in the organisation actually know what tolerance to latency individual applications actually have.

The Vtesse Networks Proof of Concept service

One or more of Vtesse Networks optical networking specialists will come to your premises to test out the planned design. Vtesse will provide drums of optical fibre to match the exact route distances to be deployed (enabling latency to be accurately modelled), together with appropriately configured optical networking equipment designed to emulate or replicate the proposed service attributes. We will help you to interface this equipment to your own systems, enabling you to test the effects of latency and jitter in your own benchmarking environment.
