Vtesse achieves ISO 27001 standard for information security management
Vtesse has been awarded ISO 27001:2005 accreditation status by the BSI. ISO 27001 is the globally recognised standard for Information Security Management Systems.
Covering Vtesse’s data centre as well as the design, supply and support of internet and data networking, ISO 27001 is an independent certification of an organisation’s information security practices and the way in which it protects both its own operations and the services it provides to customers. In order to gain accreditation, a rigorous examination of Vtesse’s information security processes, controls and its approach to information security management was undertaken.
Aidan Paul, CEO of Vtesse said,
We are delighted to have been accredited for the ISO 27001 standard. Security is a key concern, particularly in the data centre environment. Our customers can be confident that our data centre and network services continue to meet the most stringent international security standards.
