Infrastructure Projects
Delivering the best possible optical network infrastructure
Vtesse participate at all stages of network infrastructure "new build" and upgrade projects, from feasibility, budget and initial business case, through design, project management, implementation, handover and lifecycle support and service level management.
We have established long term relationships with all leading fibre providers, many leading integrators and civil engineering contractors. We have proven working relationships with the majority of mainstream optical networking manufacturers as well as with a selection of specialist suppliers.
We have extensive practical experience with local, regional and national private fibre route construction and aggregation projects. We have built out over 9,000Km of fibre routes in support of customer projects. We distinguish our network designs by providing the most appropriate practical, technical and commercial designs for each customer. To ensure the latter is true, we adopt a hybrid approach to fibre network route design, choosing the best possible blend of our own network routes and new routes ("digs") as well as aggregating the most appropriate available routes from other suppliers into our designs to ensure the shortest possible route distances for primary and, where appropriate, for diverse routes. Designs take into account technical application constraints and often feature innovative optical technologies to overcome physical network characteristics.
Importantly, the relationships we have with alternative fibre suppliers are not long standing and have been "battle tested" at both commercial and operational levels ensuring that our support processes properly work against the very high levels of SLA that our customers rightly insist upon.
Vtesse work with some of the largest civil engineering and systems integration companies in the UK and for very large projects our relationships with these companies ensure that demanding customer contractual obligations can be managed and supported.
