Vtesse Networks is a specialist optical networking service provider to large organisations.
We are expanding our sales team and require someone with a proven new business sales track record to take responsibility for the identification and closing of new business opportunities, directly and via existing partners and new partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identification and development of new business opportunities
- Qualification of opportunities
- Responding to formal RFQ/RFP requests
- Closing business directly or working alongside partners
- Develop multi-level relationships within clients and partners
- Manage client’s on-going business requirements
Background and skills required:
- Experience and knowledge of large multi-million pound Telecommunication & IT projects
- Experience of working in partnership with Systems Integrators and Outsourcing companies on large complex bids to FTSE100 companies
- Ideally some technical background but more importantly a proven track record in new business sales
- Customer facing experience, ideally dealing with large, complex clients
- Comfortable working both individually and as part of a team
Ability to work at managerial and professional level - Ability to co-ordinate and pull together other resources that constitute the clients virtual team
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable dealing with both commercial and technical matters
- Experienced enough to identify issues early and act accordingly
