ISO 9001:2008

Vtesse has achieved the ISO standard for business quality management. It is applied to the processes that create and control the products and services that we supply, and prescribes systematic control of activities to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met. The standard demonstrates the existence of an effective quality management system that satisfies the rigours of an independent, external audit.

Security Management

ISO 27001:2005

Vtesse has been awarded ISO 27001:2005 accreditation status by the BSI. ISO 27001 is the globally recognised standard for Information Security Management Systems.

Covering Vtesse’s data centre as well as the design, supply and support of internet and data networking, ISO 27001 is an independent certification of an organisation’s information security practices and the way in which it protects both its own operations and the services it provides to customers. In order to gain accreditation, a rigorous examination of Vtesse’s information security processes, controls and its approach to information security management was undertaken.

Business Continuity Management

BS-25999:2007

Vtesse has achieved the BS standard for Business Continuity Management. Business Continuity Management provides a framework for improving the ability of Vtesse to remain resilient to interruption so that key business systems and processes can be recovered while at the same time ensuring we can provide business critical support functions and vital services.

PCI DSS Compliance

Vtesse Cirrus has achieved PCI DSS certification at its Hoddesdon data centre facility. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is an information security standard for organisations that handle cardholder information, principally for major credit and debit cards.

ISPA

Vtesse is a member of the Internet Services Providers’ Association (ISPA) is the UK’s Trade Association for providers of internet services. ISPA brings together the UK internet industry to provide essential support through innovation, knowledge and experience in order to benefit the UK economy and society.

RIPE NCC Member

The RIPE NCC is one of five Regional Internet Registries (RIRs) providing Internet resource allocations, registration services and coordination activities that support the operation of the Internet globally. As a member, Vtesse can make applications for IP addresses on behalf of its customers.

LINX

Vtesse is a member of the London Internet Exchange (LINX) – one of the global leaders of Internet Exchange Points (IXP) with over 430 members. We peer directly with the LINX at Telehouse in London ensuring our customers benefit from low latency, highly resilient and cost effective internet connectivity. Our ASN number is 50173.

Data Centre Solutions Awards

Vtesse Cirrus is proud to announce that it has been named ‘Data Centre Hosting Provider of the Year’ at this year’s Data Centre Solutions Awards – an accolade determined by the voting public. Its state-of-the-art 30,000-sq-ft Tier III+ facility in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, claimed victory over five contenders including Peer 1 Hosting and Six Degrees Group to take the title.
